Question for Ritualists who did the Raisu Palace mission
I have read through the threads on Raisu Palace mission, and I would like to ask any Ritualist who managed to finish this with henchmen, what he/she may recommend. I have soloed all the way to this mission, and as you know, this one is really hard because it's timed. I always get to the last area and the Emperor dies before I can finish. I know you have to rush through, but it's hard to control henchs. And they don't use their Kuunavang given skills wisely, like a player group would do.
After finishing this part, do you then have the ability to regroup and breathe a bit before going on to Imperial Sanctum? Can you then reselect your henchmen for the next part?
I haven't developed a player group, and I don't have good luck with PuGs. So I'm hoping I can finish up solo.

I would suggest using PUGs for this mission and the last one. You don't have to rush, but you do have to pull. Killing is simple in small groups and they die quickly. With henchies, you'll have less time because they endup aggroing a lot more than a good PUG will. I've done this mission 5 times now with PUGs and I've only been defeated 3 times. Lol, all three times was with the same group.
Ritualist, Monk, MM and if possible an SS with at least 1 warrior and 1 ranger. That is a good combo. You can have upto 8 players, so you can get an ele, and another healer, protector, warrior, assassin, whatever.
After you save the Emperor, there is a cutscene, then you are at the last safe part of the city. There, you can get new people to kill Shiro. Always take PUGs over henchies for this one.
Good luck.

Thanks. As the Ritualist in a group, should I stick with my spirits/protection or pick different skills? I my usual skills are Communing and Spawning. I use Boon of Creation, Shelter, Ritual Lord, Union and sometimes Restoration. The other skills vary because I concentrate on spamming the first three of that list. I use a one handed wand and carry a kettle for extra energy.

i have henchied this mission with 6 of 8 classes, the last two will be mesmer and ritualist.
so far i have found that with henchies the first room is the most dangerous of all, due to the shirokeen elementalists with star burst, as henchies tend to be doing group hugs while battling, so i recommend taking Argo to skip the first part, then when facing the warrior boss, try to pull him away so that the groups behind him dont get aggroed.
on the second room, get inside the right (or left) room, where the shiny teleporters are, and eliminate every single enemy, wait till no more enemies appear, by this time there should be a main group in the middle, pull them a little bit towards the little room you are, and eliminate them, once they are dead, only the mobs from the oppiste "small room" should be alive, you can then walk carefully towards the necro boss without agroing them.
after that treat this as any other Talon/Danika run.
it is slow, you prolly wont get master reward, but you should get it done.
my slowest was with my ranger, and finished with 29:13 seconds.

Your basic Prot Ritual Lord build should work well. Also, Shadowsong works wonders here and I brought Pain for a little extra damage output. I made sure to take the two monks, and the domination henchman for interupts. As the previous poster stated take Argo to avoid most of the first room. Helps alot. Danika saves time too. When taking Argo, make sure that Mhenlo, Togo, and your other escort do not get hung up on him, as he stands right in the middle of the bridge he creates and may body block your escortees.
Just drop your spirts as normal and make wise use of 'ctrl-shft-space' to target without drawing aggro to yourself and your fellow squishie henchman (hopefully). This should allow your tank henchies to run into harm's way while your spirits mitigate the first enemy onslaught. For the bosses, once aggro is secured on someone else, you should be able rush in and use your celestial skill. With a lone boss or one with one or two buddies, the Archemorus aspect is often enough to make VERY quick work of these fights. Don't worry too much about rushing - with proper aggro management and target calling, you should be able to get through with time to spare.
Like AW Lore said, master's probably isnt an option, but finishing Raisu with your Rit and henchies is definitely doable.

Thanks for replies. I ended up with a good PuG and the whole thing was over in short time.
